ABOUT FIERCE BEAUTIES

Fierce Beauties Football League is a 501(C)(3) non-profit founded in 2018 designed to encourage young female athletes to expand their physical horizons and break worldly stereotypes through recreational sports and comprehensive programs for young girls in the community. 

We believe that providing activities around flag football will install positive experiences and opportunities to develop skills otherwise not available to young female athletes to excel in any environment or career field.

The league also focuses on youth physical fitness, quality of lifestyle, building self-esteem, and an educational empowering program that offers a series of parent/child programs for children five years old to eighteen years of age.

OUR MISSION

Our mission goes beyond the game. We feed youth, prepare teens for the workforce, mentor future leaders, and are working to build a multi-purpose community center and park that will serve as a safe haven for runaway and at-risk teens, as well as a hub for youth programming.

To ensure that the athletes are less likely to engage in risky behavior; are eager to learn, successful in school, and more likely to graduate.

Over the years, Fierce Beauties Football League has been able to expose the youth to some of the top mentors and College scouts.

We believe that allowing the youth access and availability to be mentored by successful athletes, help solidify their belief in hard work and keeps them dedicated to their dreams.

2. Nutrition & Feeding Youth
  • Weekly meals for athletes and their families
  • Nutrition education classes
  • Partnership with local food banks to operate a youth pantry
3. Workforce Development
  • Paid positions for older players and the elderly:
    • Gate operations
    • Concession stand management
    • Coaching younger divisions
  • Job skills training in customer service, leadership, and event operations
4. Sports & Leadership
  • Girls’ flag football leagues (ages 6–18)
  • Skills camps, tournaments, and leadership retreats
  • Pathways for athletes to earn college scholarships
5. Safe Spaces & Housing
  • Developing a Community Center with:
    • Shelter for runaway & at-risk teens
    • Counseling & case management services
    • A computer lab and study rooms
6. Park & Infrastructure Development
  • Plans to build a public-access park with:
    • Girls’ flag football field
    • Walking trails & outdoor fitness stations
    • Community event pavilion


OUR IMPACT

  • Over 500 youth served annually through sports & mentorship

  • Three athletes earned full-ride college scholarships in flag football
  • Employment opportunities created for teens in operations and coaching roles

By 2030, the Fierce Beauties Legacy Center will stand as a fully equipped community hub and park,blending athletics, education, nutrition, workforce training, and youth housing. This state-of-the-artfacility will be a safe, vibrant space where young people can grow, learn, and lead — creating a legacy of empowerment for generations to come.

LEAGUE OPERATIONS

1. Season Operations: Fierce Beauties Football League season in Fort Worth at North Crowley High School will run from Oct through Dec 2023.
2. Game Dates: All games are on Sundays
3. Grade Based Organization: Fierce Beauties Football League is an age-based organization. Players play in their designated age level.
4 . Practices/Game Schedule: All practices and games are on the SAME DAY - parents need only allocate a 1.5-hour window of availability each week for their child's involvement in the program. Practice hours take place immediately prior to a participant's scheduled game time.
5. Game Play: Each Fierce Beauties game is 7vs7 for 14 and up. 13 and under will play 5vs5
6. Team Roster Size: Teams are comprised of 10 players maximum.
7. Season Fees: $140.00: Fees are inclusive of a participant's custom jersey, shorts, and camp shirt.
8. Banquet: We will hold a ceremony to honor the player and their hard work during the overall season.

Maurisa Goldston – Founder & Executive Director
Former collegiate and professional football player. Founder of Fierce Beauties. Leads organizational strategy, program development, and community engagement.
Regina Goldston – Board President
Retired U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class. Brings leadership, structure, and accountability as a dedicated board leader and mother of the founder.
Kim Preston – Community Outreach Chair
Advocate for food security and family resources. Leads efforts in community partnerships, food drives, and outreach for underserved populations.
Zenobia Harvey – Communications & PR Chair
Fierce Beauties publicist. Manages all branding, media relations, and public messaging to ensure the mission is clearly and consistently shared.
Courtney Dowdy – Wellness & Program Development Chair
Licensed therapist and active-duty Army Major. Oversees the Girls Talk program and all wellness- centered programming through her practice, The Butterfly Effect.
